Role Purpose

The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of several enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. This role will drive the implementation, optimisation, and integration of two initiatives. The first to enhance customer engagement, streamline sales and marketing processes, and improve data-driven decision-making across the organisation. The second will adopt a 3 rd party provided service across the whole of the UK firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through to closure, adhering to project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, providing clear communication and status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, fostering strong relationships with business units, IT, and external vendors.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for development teams.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals and outcomes.
  • Manage Solution Design & Implementation:
  • Oversee the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of the solutions.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet business needs.
  • Manage data migration strategies and ensure data integrity throughout the implementation lifecycles.
  • Process Optimisation & Change Management:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance utilisation.
  • Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful user adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support for user training and documentation.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and deliverables are of high quality.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts where necessary.
  • Post-Implementation Support & Optimisation:
  • Oversee post-implementation reviews and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for ongoing optimisation and enhancement.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3-4 years specifically managing CRM and 3 rd party services implementation projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of best practices, sales, marketing, and customer service processes.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., ADO, Microsoft Planner).
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Understanding of data migration, integration, and reporting tools.

Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
  • Experience in a consulting environment or large-scale digital transformation programmes.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong drive for delivery.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and resilient, able to navigate challenges and ambiguity.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
