About The Hiring Team Level Infinite is Tencent’s global gaming brand. It is a global game publisher offering a comprehensive network of services for games, development teams, and studios around the world. Level Infinite also provides a wide range of services and resources to our network of developers and partner studios around the world to help them unlock the true potential of their games. What The Role Entails As a Game Engine Developer in our Research and Development (R&D) department, you will build the foundational systems that power projects across our global network of studios. Unlike a standard production role, you will focus on creating scalable, high-performance tools and modular engine extensions that solve shared technical challenges for multiple overseas teams. Who We Look For * Relevant majors such as Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Digital Media, Game Development, or related fields. * Engineering Excellence: Strong proficiency in C++ and Computer Graphics. * System Design: Experience building modular and scalable systems designed for use by other developers. * Advanced Engine Knowledge: Deep understanding of Game Engine internals, including multithreading, memory management, and client-server architecture. * Solid English communication skills, both written and verbal. * Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, international teams across different time zones. * Additional materials submitted with the application (e.g., GitHub, portfolio, personal projects, or game jam projects) will be a strong plus. * Strong preference for candidates available for a 6-month full-time onsite internship.
