Job description

Welfare Rights Officer (3-Month Contract)

📍 Glasgow | 35 hours per week | Hybrid

We are recruiting for an experienced Welfare Rights Officer to join a reputable housing organisation on a 3-month temporary contract.

You will provide specialist advice and support to tenants, helping them access and maximise welfare benefits, including support with claims, reconsiderations, and appeals. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to support tenancy sustainment and positive community outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in welfare rights, housing, or advice services
  • Strong knowledge of UK benefits systems
  • Excellent communication and case management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
