Job description
Your Purpose As Entertainment Operations Director you will lead the day-to-day management of MSC Creative Studios in Edinburgh, overseeing facility operations, team leadership, and alignment with wider UK Entertainment activities. You will drive high standards of delivery while fostering a safe, inclusive, and collaborative creative environment, ensuring full alignment with MSC’s operational and cultural standards. Your Impact * Lead, develop and manage a growing multidisciplinary team within a creative studio environment * Act as a key point of contact with MSC’s global structure, ensuring strong communication and alignment * Oversee daily planning, scheduling and venue management across a multi studio rehearsal facility * Manage and control operational budgets, ensuring efficiency and value delivery * Oversee supplier relationships, contracts and service standards * Ensure all operations meet health, safety and compliance standards * Support the delivery of high quality rehearsal, training and production activity Your Journey so far * Experience at Director/Senior Manager level within a creative, performance, or educational facility * Demonstrated experience managing complex operations and large teams * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field Your Essentials * Experience within entertainment, cruise, maritime, hospitality or large scale venue operations * Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across international teams * Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control * Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification/experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Fluent English required, additional languages are an advantage * Willingness and ability to travel internationally on occasion * Existing right to live and work in the UK Our commitment We are committed to building a future that values diverse perspectives, embraces the world beyond borders, and fosters an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued, respected and empowered to be their authentic selves.
