Job description
Job Title Echocardiographer – Band 7 – Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire – Start ASAP – 3 months – Rate £50 – £65 per hour – Working hours Monday to Friday. Overview An exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Band 7 Echocardiographer to join a dedicated cardiology team in Clydebank. The role involves accurate assessment and management of patients with adult transthoracic echocardiography in a supportive, well‑equipped environment. Responsibilities * Perform and interpret high‑quality transthoracic echocardiograms, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support clinical decision‑making. * Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiac assessments. * Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to departmental protocols. * Contribute to service efficiency and maintain high patient care standards. Qualifications and Experience * BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent relevant qualification * Postgraduate qualification in Echocardiography or equivalent experience * Current registration with RCCP or AHCS * Proven experience in adult transthoracic echocardiography * Competence in using a range of echocardiography equipment and software * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload * Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and continuous professional development How to Apply If you feel your expertise is suited to this role, please apply today and our specialist team will be in touch to discuss it with you in more detail.
