Job description
Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our brand new nursery opening in July 2025. Your primary focus will be on supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Key responsibilities * Provide high-quality care and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our own curriculum. * Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development * Observe, assess and record childrens progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues * Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for all children * Work collaboratively with your team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery * Uphold nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safeguarding regulations Requirements Qualifications and skills required * Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare is desired. * Experience working in a nursery or early years setting * Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently * Enhanced DBS check clearance is required If you are passionate about early education and eager to make a positive impact on childrens lives, we encourage you to apply!
