Job description

This statement is made in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It explains our approach to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring in our business and our supply chains. Allison Homes Group Limited is the holding company of a number of companies; including Allison Homes Limited, Allison Homes Norfolk and Suffolk Limited, Larkfleet SW Limited, Allison Himes East Midlands Limited, Allison Homes South West Homes Limited, Southfield Business Park Limited, Hawksmead Limited and Swift Homes Limited. This statement is issued on behalf of Allison Homes Group Limited and its subsidiary companies which trade under the name Allison Homes so when we mention Allison Homes Group Limited, “Allison Homes”, “we” “us” or “our” in this policy we are referring to the relevant company in the Allison Homes Group Limited group. Business Model Allison Homes is an award-winning housebuilding and development company based in Bourne, Lincolnshire. We design and build good quality new homes in Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, East Midlands, Rutland, the South West, Norfolk and Suffolk. We strive to deliver housing solutions that focus on developing successful communities. We invest in the future of house building by pioneering sustainable building methods. This means that we can provide homes that meet the demands of present and future home buyers that offer efficient and cost effective solutions that do not compromise on quality and focus on delivering good levels of customer service and satisfaction. We identify strategic development sites and find planning solutions for the more difficult sites and deliver integrated developments to get more homes built. Our position We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains. As an equal-opportunities employer, we are also committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for our staff. We have zero tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking in our businesses and supply-chain. As a result of this we are committed to maintaining systems and controls which are designed to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking taking place within Allison Homes or in our supply chain. Our Whistleblowing policy provides clarity for employees and others working in our supply chain to report a suspected breach of this statement. The risks relating to modern slavery and human trafficking can apply anywhere in our operations. We therefore expect our suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking within their own businesses. We therefore require them to report any instances of modern slavery and human trafficking to us as soon as they become aware of them. We have informed them of the law and the actions they must take. If issues are identified and not resolved to our satisfaction, we will take any necessary remedial action as appropriate which may include a review of the relationship. To assess and manage the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking we have: * Continued to make our staff aware of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and inform them of the appropriate action to take if they suspect a case of slavery or human trafficking; * Updated our company polices, including modern slavery; * Encourage all of our supply chain to confirm that they are taking positive steps to eliminate human trafficking and modern slavery; * We monitor the effectiveness of our actions to mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking by reviewing our policies and our procurement standards; and * We undertake checks to ensure that any new employees are eligible to work in the UK for us; Targets for 2025 During 2025, we will continue to assess and manage the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking to our businesses and supply chain by undertaking the following activities: * Continuing to develop a staff awareness strategy for the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and reporting mechanisms if a case of slavery or human trafficking is suspected. * Embed the Modern Slavery Act 2015 into our Whistleblowing Policy and processes. * Continue to monitor our supply chain and ensure that any new suppliers are aware of their obligations and keep under review our pre-qualification standards for the appointment of new suppliers and sub-contractors; * Undertake due diligence to ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015; * Develop our approach to tackling the issue of Modern Slavery.
