In this role you will enrich the lives of learners by designing and implementing a variety of activities and programmes that enhance student life and contribute to a positive college experience. Key Responsibilities * Develop, coordinate and supervise a calendar of cross‑college events to raise aspirations and enrich the student experience. * Plan a range of activities throughout the learner journey (enrolment to progression), including 1:1 support, group work, workshops and events scheduled via a central calendar. * Collaboratively develop cross‑college programmes that develop interpersonal skills (focus weeks, learner voice events, focus groups, PACE sessions). * Review the impact of all activities to embed Gatsby Benchmarks and improve student experience, utilising the CDI framework and Compass evaluation tool. * Work with Curriculum Managers and Personal Development Tutors to monitor uptake of extracurricular activities (e.g., Duke of Edinburgh Award) and liaise with external partners. * Identify barriers to participation, safeguard and welfare concerns, and work with the Safeguarding and Welfare team to provide support. * Assist with general learner activities such as open evenings, enrolments and support wider college teams as required. * Undertake necessary training and continuing professional development for the role. * Perform other duties of a similar level of responsibility as required. Qualifications & Experience * Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience (e.g., A level). * GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. * Level 2 IT qualification or willingness to pursue one. * Level 3 Preparing to Teach qualification (preferred). * Previous work with young people or adults, able to interact positively with both. * High level competence in IT, including Microsoft applications and college systems. * Strong communication, negotiation and partnership skills. * Creative and innovative mindset, able to introduce new concepts, themes and fundraising activities. * Ability to keep and evaluate records and statistical data, and work towards targets across both campuses. * Team‑working and leadership abilities, capable of motivating participation in events. * Self‑motivated, well‑organised and able to manage own time and priorities independently. * Flexibility and willingness to try new ideas. * Experience coordinating Duke of Edinburgh awards and volunteering opportunities (desirable). * Experience and understanding of the Further Education sector (desirable). * Experience working with mixed ages, cultures and abilities (desirable). * Experience overseeing/ monitoring a budget and building costings for events (desirable).
