Job descriptionSenior Global Recruitment Consultant | Independent Headhunter I HR Professional | Transparent Relationships Always ❤️ UK & SA The Proposal Coordinator supports the proposals team with tender preparation, cost compilation and documentation. This role requires strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple workstreams under supervision. * Prepare tenders and costings ensuring accuracy in line with customer requirements and company strategy. * Analyse client needs to identify the correct solutions and equipment, producing compliant and technically sound proposals. * Develop cost build-ups and apply appropriate margins aligned with CRC Evans’ operational margin and revenue targets. * Lead and participate in proposal review meetings, presenting bid strategies, pricing and technical clarifications. * Make requests to and coordinate with the wider Proposal Team, Commercial, Engineering and Operations functions to gather necessary inputs for proposals. * Identify and elevate areas of concern within proposals, seeking guidance from SME’s. * Log and maintain records of tender activities and progress within CRM and proposal tracking systems. * Support customer-facing activities, including presenting proposals and participating in client clarification meetings as required. * Work to tight deadlines while ensuring attention to detail and compliance with internal governance processes. * Maintain adherence to CRC Evans’ QHSE policies and procedures during the tendering process Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities * All employees have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others affected by their actions at work. * Employees must conduct assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental rules, policy, procedures, regulations and codes of practice. * Employees must co-operate with management and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal obligations. * Employees must follow any instructions or health, safety & environmental training provided by the company and report any hazards, injuries or ill health that present a serious and imminent risk and inform your line manager about any shortcomings you identify within your health and safety arrangements. Essential Job Specific Education Required * OR working towards Degree, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction, Mathematics, or similar. * OR relevant experience in tendering/estimating in a similar role Essential Work Experience Required * Experience as an Estimator, ideally within Oil & Gas, Construction, or Engineering sectors. * Experience in preparation of tenders and proposals. * Understanding of cost build-ups, pricing strategy and margin application aligned with business objectives. * Technical knowledge of pipeline construction and/or general construction processes. * Passion for commercial activities, customer orientated. * Attention to detail under pressure. * Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Confident to support and input within internal meetings and customer-facing discussions. * Strong team ethic. * Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into effective technical and commercial proposals. * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Requirement to travel * Isolated occasional travel to visit customers / regional offices.
