A primary school in Bath is looking for an educator to work on a 1:1 basis with a young learner with ADHD. Your role will include:
Providing 1:1 emotional and wellbeing support
Supporting during moments of dysregulation and emotional distress
Encouraging positive routines, engagement and self-regulation strategies
Working closely with class teachers, SEN staff and pastoral leads
Helping pupils feel safe, valued and ready to learn
What we’re looking for:
A background in mental health, psychology, SEN, care or youth work
A patient, resilient and empathetic approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
Confidence supporting children with emotional or behavioural needs
A calm, consistent presence in the classroom and wider school setting

Daily rates from £92 to £97, paid weekly via PAYE
£250 referral bonus when you refer a teacher

What we need to clear you:
Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
Two proofs of address, such as a driving licence or utility bill
CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained
Two years of references, including childcare or support work where relevant
Overseas Police Check if you’ve lived abroad for three months or more in the last five years
