Job description

The Firm This highly regarded West End law firm has been advising private clients, businesses and entrepreneurs for over 170 years and has built an enviable reputation for combining premium work with a highly collegiate culture. The client base is diverse and sophisticated, encompassing HNW and UHNW individuals, family offices, owner‑managed businesses, international clients and established corporates. Many relationships span generations, resulting in a strong flow of repeat instructions and opportunities for cross‑referrals across the firms private client, property and corporate teams. Unlike larger institutional practices, the firm maintains a genuinely collaborative and non‑hierarchical culture. Partners work closely together, creating an environment where new joiners are able to integrate quickly and leverage the strength of the wider platform. The Role You will join an established disputes practice, advising clients across a broad range of commercial litigation matters. Typical work includes shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, partnership issues, professional negligence claims and wider business‑related conflicts involving private individuals, companies and entrepreneurs. The role offers significant autonomy and direct client contact, allowing you to further develop your practice while benefiting from the firms strong reputation and existing client relationships. The wider partnership is highly supportive of cross‑referrals, and there is a clear appreciation that successful lateral hires require the right environment to thrive. As such, you will have the freedom to continue developing your own client relationships while benefiting from introductions and opportunities generated across the wider firm.
