Job description
Security Controller Nights - London, EC4A 2BJ London EC4A 2BJ, UK Job Description We are seeking a reliable and highly organised Controller to support site operations through effective coordination, monitoring, and communication. This role is critical to ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining accurate records, and acting as a central point of control for incidents, access, and operational activities. Position: Controller Shift Pattern: 19:00 - 07:00 Nights 4 on 4 off Location: London EC4A 2BJ Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour Benefits * Cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme * Company pension scheme * Life assurance benefits * Progression, training, and development opportunities * Discounted gym membership * Discounts at major retailers and travel suppliers * Restaurant and supermarket vouchers * Cinema tickets * Access to a 24/7 free Employee Assistance Programme Duties and Responsibilities * Operate as the central point of control for site operations, communications, and incident reporting * Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control systems, and radio communications where applicable * Coordinate responses to incidents, emergencies, or operational issues in line with site procedures * Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of daily activities and incidents * Communicate effectively with on‑site teams, management, tenants, and external services as required * Support access control processes and authorisations in line with site policies * Identify and elevate potential risks, security concerns, or operational issues promptly * Ensure compliance with company policies, site procedures, and Health & Safety requirements * Support audits and investigations by providing accurate records and information * Carry out any additional duties as requested by the company Qualifications * Experienced Controller * Strong coordination skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm under pressure Equal Opportunity Employer At Ward Security, we believe in fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated, and every individual is valued.
