The Role As a Senior Counsellor/Counsellor you will lead/work as a key member of the specialist team providing a high standard of counselling, including: * Tailored counselling approaches to meet the unique emotional and psychological needs of our clients. * Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and confidentiality. * Work as part of a team ensuring a holistic approach to patient wellbeing. Key Responsibilities * Deliver individual and group counselling to patients, carers, families including children. * Provide clinical supervision to counsellors, volunteers and trainees, ensuring the highest professional standards are maintained. * Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to offer holistic care. * Contribute to the development and evaluation of our psychological services, ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our community. About You You will: * Be a Qualified Counsellor * Have an accredited membership, or working towards, of BACP, UKCP or BPS or equivalent/ RMN. * Be a compassionate and empathic individual with a genuine commitment to improving the quality of care of your clients. * Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with colleagues, patients and their loved ones. * Have the ability to adapt counselling techniques to suit the unique needs of each individual.
