As a Trainee Field Technician, you will be a friendly face our communities become to recognise as the hero keeping us all connected. About the role As a Field Delivery Telecommunications Trainee, you will work alongside a mentor offering you on going coaching, support and mentoring during your traineeship. You will get hands on training providing our customers with a great experience by activating and assuring telecommunications / technology products and services, in homes and/or business. You will actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver the optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to Telstras values and strategy. This is a Fixed-term role for 12 months with the potential for permanency thereafter. What You Bring* Hold a current drivers licence.* Physically fit for the role.* The ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug alcohol screening.* Ability to undertake a police check.* Professional and polite communication.* Enjoy working in a team environment.* Positive attitude and safety-first approach.* Be technically minded.Qualifications As a Trainee Technician you will be provided with Telecommunication Technology Cert III training during the traineeship along with relevant certifications and/or licencing for the location you reside in. No qualifications need. Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment undertaken by RTO.Telstra can support you through obtaining a Working With Children Check and White Card.
