Job description
About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Engineer to join our CoLab team here in Birmingham. Job Description Within this role you will support lawyers and clients in using legal technology effectively, providing responsive guidance and troubleshooting across a range of solutions. The role also involves delivering legal tech projects, supporting product pilots, and promoting new tools through training, demos and one‑to‑one support across the firm. About you We’re looking for a proactive self‑starter who is enthusiastic, quick to learn and keen to bring ideas to the team. You’ll have a genuine interest in the business of a law firm, and the role technology plays within it, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to engage with a range of audiences. You’ll be highly collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working with stakeholders across different teams and locations, and able to balance multiple priorities with a logical, detail‑focused approach. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills are essential, as is good IT literacy, including MS Office and an interest in developing your knowledge of legal technology. Experience in a legal or legal technology environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
