Acorn by Synergie, part of Synergie - Europe's fifth largest recruitment company, is recruiting a Recruitment Consultant to join our busy Exeter office. This role is ideal for experienced recruiters or ambitious sales professionals seeking to grow their career in a fast-paced, client-focused recruitment environment. You will have autonomy to work independently - running your own desk and offering creative recruitment solutions to businesses across multiple sectors. Key Duties * Manage the full permanent recruitment life-cycle, from job briefing through to offer and placement. * Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted recruitment partner. * Conduct business development activity to win new clients and generate vacancies. * Source, screen and interview candidates using multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals). * Match candidates effectively to permanent roles based on skills, experience and cultural fit. * Prepare candidates for interviews, providing coaching and feedback. * Negotiate offers and fees, ensuring a successful close for all parties. * Ensure full compliance with employment legislation, data protection and company processes. * Maintain accurate records on the CRM/ATS, tracking candidate and client activity. Requirements * Previous experience in recruitment or sales. * Outgoing personality with a strong work ethic. * Ability to listen, learn, and build strong client and candidate relationships. * Passion for sales and providing excellent customer service. * Full UK driving licence.
