Job description
Class 1 Driver Days Location: Sandford Shift: 5 out of 7 Referral: Refer a friend for this HGV Driver role and you'll both receive £1,000, paid in two instalments. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering a safe, reliable and professional service for our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Delivering alcoholic products from our customer base to RDCs, retail stores and warehouse locations across the UK. * Running out-and-back routes, planning your journey efficiently each day to ensure timely deliveries. * Providing excellent customer service, engaging with customers both face-to-face and over the phone in a professional manner. * Maintaining regular communication with the transport team for progress updates and to help manage customer expectations. * Managing your driving hours and working time in full compliance with all relevant legislation while working away from home. * Attending ongoing training sessions to support your continued development and keep your skills up to date. Essential Skills and Qualifications * Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence. * Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared. * Bring your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, making every interaction count. * Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively. * Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player, contributing to a positive work environment. * Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.
