Mana Education are proud to be working with a highly specialist education provision seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN English Teacher to join their dedicated team.

This is a truly unique opportunity to make a profound difference to the lives of children and young people receiving medical care within a hospital environment. The role would suit an empathetic, resilient and creative teacher who has strong experience supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD), ideally within a specialist school or hospital setting.

The Role

Teaching may take place:
✔️ 1:1 at a pupil's bedside
✔️ Within a specialist classroom environment

✔️ Experience teaching English within SEND settings
✔️ Strong knowledge of PMLD and SLD needs
✔️ Experience within a special school or hospital education environment (desirable)
✔️ A calm, resilient and flexible approach
✔️ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✔️ A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people

You will become part of a highly supportive and specialist team dedicated to ensuring that every child continues to receive education, encouragement and hope during difficult times.

This role offers:

Small group and 1:1 teaching
Supportive multidisciplinary environment
Opportunities to develop specialist SEND experience
The chance to genuinely change lives
