Band 6 – Stroke Physiotherapist - Barts NHS Trust London Job Title : Stroke Physiotherapist - Barts NHS Trust Banding : 6 Location : London Start: ASAP Duration : Full time Rate :£ 24 - £ 27 Working hours: Monday – Friday We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Stroke Physiotherapist to join our Community Stroke Team at Barts NHS Trust. This role is based in London and involves working within the stroke pathway to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to stroke patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive and compassionate care. What will your responsibilities be : As a Band 6 Stroke Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programs for stroke patients within the community. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and function. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and will be expected to maintain accurate patient records and documentation. You will provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management and recovery. Qualifications and Experiences: * Degree in Physiotherapy * HCPC registration * Previous experience working as a Band 6 Physiotherapist or equivalent * Stroke or neurological experience essential * Community experience preferable * Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team * Commitment to continuous professional development Reasonable Adjustments: I f you consider yourself to have a disability or require any reasonable adjustment during the recruitment process or within the workplace, please highlight this at the earliest opportunity by contacting our team.
