Communications and Events Manager / Public Relations and Events Manager Hybrid Bath (1-2 days per week in office) Competitive Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Are you an experienced PR & Events professional looking for your next challenge? About the Role As PR & Events Manager, you will develop and implement an integrated public relations and events strategy aligned to the companys growth ambitions. Youll manage media relationships, external communications, and a wide-ranging events calendar ensuring the companys brand and reputation are promoted and protected across all touchpoints. Youll also support internal communications, helping to align colleagues around key business initiatives and fostering a collaborative, connected culture. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement an external PR, Sponsorship, and Events strategy that drives brand reputation and visibility * Build strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, event partners, and internal stakeholders * Oversee the delivery of a full events programme, including content planning, supplier management, and on-site execution * Maximise the impact of sponsorships and industry partnerships * Manage the companys PR agency relationship, ensuring coverage in key trade and business press * Develop internal communication strategies to engage employees and align them with company objectives * Continuously monitor trends in the events and media space to ensure innovative and effective campaign delivery About You * Proven experience leading external communications, PR campaigns, and corporate events * Skilled at building and managing relationships with external suppliers, media contacts, and internal teams * Strong knowledge of sponsorship management and partnership engagement * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail * Ability to work proactively, managing multiple projects and priorities to tight deadlines * Experience in financial services and ideally within the wealth management, investment management, WRAP platform or financial adviser-facing environments would be an advantage * A good understanding of the UK financial services regulatory environment preferred. * Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership teams Whats on Offer * Competitive salary plus annual discretionary bonus * Hybrid working model (typically 1-2 days in the Bath office) * Generous holiday allowance (34 days including bank holidays) with options to buy and sell additional days * Private medical insurance (including family cover options) * Group contributory pension scheme and income protection * Wellbeing initiatives including an additional paid wellbeing day each year * Season ticket loan, recognition schemes, and strong internal career progression support Why Apply?
