Associate - Catastrophic Injury - Bristol - 2+ Years PQE Location: Bristol Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Hybrid Working) Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 The Role You’ll be responsible for managing and assisting with a varied caseload of catastrophic and large loss injury matters, including: * Complex motor, EL/PL and public liability claims * Brain and spinal injury cases * Chronic pain and multi track matters * Sport related concussion claims, including sensitive and high profile cases * Pre litigation and litigated files * Liaising with clients, insurers, experts and counsel * Supporting a collaborative, high performing team culture * Delivering high quality, timely work aligned with client service standards * You will work closely with senior lawyers on nationally significant and technically challenging cases. Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with: * 2+ years PQE (Solicitor or CILEX with equivalent experience) * Experience in catastrophic injury defence work * Strong litigation and negotiation skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Confidence in managing client relationships and attending BD events * High attention to detail and strong organisational skills * Ability to work efficiently, commercially and under pressure * A proactive, motivated and team focused mindset * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems * PQE is provided as a guide only-applications from candidates with more or less experience will be considered.
