We are currently seeking a Psychology Graduate to work at a Client School for children with a range of Special Needs and Disabilities in York, North Yorkshire, starting as soon as possible. Psychology Graduate Requirements: * A degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject). * A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education, SEN support, or child/adolescent mental health. * A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature. * Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children. * Experience working with children or young people is desirable (e.g. in schools, youth work, or care settings). Psychology Graduate Responsibilities: * Provide dedicated support to SEMH students with additional needs such as mental health challenges, behavioural difficulties, and autism. * Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored interventions and differentiated activities. * Use your understanding of psychological theories to help inform your support strategies.. * Establish strong, positive relationships with students through 1:1 and small group support. * Manage behaviour in alignment with the schools policies and ethos.
