Consultant in General Surgery - Barts Health NHS Trust Job title:Consultant in General Surgery Location: London, Greater London Client Group and Setting: Barts Health NHS Trust Working Hours: Flexible hours 7 – 50 hours Rate:£70 - £120 We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Locum Consultant in General Surgery to join our clients esteemed medical team in London. In this role, you will provide expert surgical care, perform a wide range of procedures, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care. Key Responsibilities As an integral member of our surgical team, you will provide expert surgical care and manage patient treatment plans with precision and compassion. Youll conduct thorough patient assessments, perform a diverse range of surgical procedures, and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care. Your role will encompass overseeing pre- and post-operative care, collaborating with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, and stepping in for emergency surgeries when needed. In addition to your surgical duties, youll mentor junior doctors, keeping them inspired and informed. Youll stay at the forefront of the latest surgical advancements, contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient outcomes and pushing the boundaries of general surgery.
