About Our Nursery Busy Bees Nottingham Wollaton is an Ofsted‑rated Good nursery with a capacity of 109. The nursery features expansive gardens, individual outdoor spaces for each age group, and a lively pre‑school area that promotes learning and play. We collaborate with the local library and Wollaton Park, giving children opportunities to explore beyond the nursery walls. Conveniently located on Bromcote Lane, the nursery is just a 10‑minute drive from Nottingham city centre and a short stroll from Wollaton Park. Public transport users can find a bus stop at Admiral Rodney (Stop WO06). Free Jo Jingle sessions are held on Mondays during term time to introduce music and movement. Staff also enjoy free parking. What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner * Create a safe, stimulating environment by preparing materials and arranging rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning. * Lead educational activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). * Assume the Key Person role, overseeing children’s development and care needs, and building strong family connections. What We’re Looking For * Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education. * Proven experience working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education. * Good communication, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
