Job description
Drivers required: HGV Drivers Class 1 Location: Runcorn Join our team and start earning top rates in?RUNCORN, If you are a HGV DRIVER CLASS 1 - APPLY NOW RATES: Days: from £16.68 up to £17.18 per hour (based on start time) Afternoons: from £16.68 up to £17.89 per hour (based on start time) Nights: from£16.68 up to £18.08 per hour (based on start time) Saturdays: £18.04 per hour Sundays: £20.07 per hour Overtime: £20.80 per hour (after 10.5 hours daily) ***Estimated gross weekly pay based on 55 hours £920*** ***Expected gross annual earnings £47,500*** HG Recruitment are recruiting?HGV DRIVER CLASS 1 in partnership with our ?WINCANTON client based in Runcorn. Drivers are required to work Monday to Friday AM (between 02:00/05:00 OR PM (between 14:00/17:00), this would be a mixture between store deliveries and long distant trunking. Professional? HGV Drivers are required to?APPLY NOW. DUTIES: * Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others. * Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage. * Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery. * HGVDrivers?must Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner. * Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary * Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills * Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised * Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service * Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work If you are a?Professional HGV Class 1 Driver in the RUNCORN area, click APPLY NOW BENEFITS: * Minimum 10 hours guaranteed per shift * Planned Average 10 hours shift * Flexible shifts times to suit availability * Consistent regular ongoing work and job security * Pension scheme * Attractive rewards and premiums associated with weekend working * Supportive, customer-focused team * Fixed Rotas available until January 2026 and beyond * Supportive Free onsite training, Driver trainers support, inc upskilling, CPC, And ongoing periodic training * Driver portal - clearly displaying assignment briefs, payslips, holiday accrual, historical pay and working time data. * Driver apps, communicate with the team and always be heard. * Manned 24/7 availability REQUIRMENTS: * HGV C+E licence minimum 6 months * Digi Tacho & CPC cards * Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements * Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours) * Good national geographical awareness * Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills * Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised * Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service * Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work ABOUT HG RECRUITMENT Decades of experience in the supply chain, HG has a strong, well-established reputation.
