We have an exciting opportunity for a Member Communications Manager to join our Workplace team, reporting to our Head of Member Communications. This role is vital to the Workplace business, ensuring we secure and retain clients. You will partner with high-value TargetPlan clients to deliver tailored communication programmes. You will also collaborate closely with the Client Relationship Team to support clients and members within each scheme. Building strong relationships with clients and consultants is crucial to positioning Aegon as a communication leader in the DC market. The role also supports the Pension Geeks proposition and its growth through virtual and face to face events, and you’ll be part of the wider Workplace Communication & Education team. Transitioning clients to a digital model will be important, while also meeting them face-to-face where required - regular travel should be expected. Key Responsibilities * Working in collaboration with key clients to identify their communication objectives based on their specific characteristics and requirements. * Creating tailored communication programmes to meet individual client needs. Working closely with the Client Relationship Director to consider the full range of communication media. * Project manage and deliver communication programmes, including online and face-to-face member presentations to large audiences. * Manage and deliver multiple communication updates to clients throughout the lifetime of their scheme, e.g., fund or industry changes. * Proactively identify and resolve client communication issues as they arise. * Supporting new business activities by contributing to and participating in client pitch meetings. * Implementing communication programmes by producing emails/letters, customising literature, and presenting product information to members. * Help develop member documentation, including member booklets, plan summaries, and investment options. * Proactively contribute to the creative development of the DC communication service. * Adhere to internal procedures, including Compliance and peer review requirements at all times. * Approval of final versions of member documents following attainment of accreditation status. * Assist in testing and providing feedback to improve document preparation processes.
