They are opening a 3-bed Ofsted-registered childrens home in South Norwood for children aged 8 to18 years old and they arelooking for a Registered Manager to lead the home, shape its culture, and inspire a brand-new team. The Role As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the homes operations, quality, and compliance. You will create a nurturing, supportive environment where every young person feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their potential. Responsibilities * Lead the day-to-day running of the childrens home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. * The Registered Manager will recruit, train, and inspire your staff team to deliver exceptional person-centred care. * Develop individual care plans tailored to each childs unique needs and goals. * Promote safeguarding, emotional well-being, and positive outcomes for all residents. * Work closely with families, local authorities, and other professionals to ensure joined-up support. * Manage budgets, oversee audits, and drive continuous improvement across the service. About You * Were looking for a Registered Manager who is passionate, dedicated, and ready to make a real difference. * Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or senior role within a childrens residential setting. * Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and childrens home standards. * Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (Level 5 Leadership preferred). * You are a Registered Manager with excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. * A caring, child-centred approach and commitment to achieving the best outcomes. * Experience leading successful Ofsted inspections.
