About the role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Liaison and Recruitment Officer to support the delivery of UCL’s student recruitment activity, with a particular focus on student engagement.
You will coordinate our Student Ambassador Scheme, enabling impactful peer-to-peer interactions between prospective and current students. This includes overseeing recruitment, training, deployment and ongoing support of ambassadors, ensuring they are equipped to represent UCL across a wide range of activities—from open days and school visits to digital platforms.
You will also lead on the coordination of campus tours, ensuring an excellent visitor experience across in-person, virtual and self-guided formats. Alongside this, you will respond to prospective student enquiries, contribute to recruitment events, and support the continuous development of our outreach and engagement activity.
This is a varied and collaborative role, requiring close partnership with colleagues across UCL, including faculties, the Students’ Union and widening participation teams, as well as external stakeholders.
Please note, this is an internal recruitment advert, available to eligible UCL workers only. The role is offered on 12-month fixed term/secondment and hybrid working basis where the postholder will be based in our Bidborough House office for a minimum of 1-day per week.
