Job descriptionWe are recruiting for a Support Workers to join our service in Plymouth, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The Bungalow is for 6 Adults with Learning Disability, Physical disability, Epilepsy and Adults on the Spectrum. Person centred care is very important to us at The Bungalow. As a team, we focus on the abilities of the people we support and promote learning of new skills, thereby promoting independence and an improved quality of life. The people we support are involved in the day-to-day running of their home. The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including: Buccia games Holidays at least one per year Bus ride or walks Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing Support activities, appointments, and community access Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-insWho We’re Looking For You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
