Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care, serving over 1700 veterinary practices through 60 plus dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. Our Northampton clinic has been providing local emergency care since 2005 and has the RCVS Small Animal Emergency Service Clinic accreditation, reflecting the work the practice does treating emergency and critical care cases without appointments.
Understanding your key role
Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

A template rota pattern is shown below, the exact working pattern may differ slightly:
Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday from 19:00 to 09:00
Week 2: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 19:00 to 09:00
Week 3: Friday from 19:00 to 09:00
Week 4: Tuesday and Wednesday from 19:00 to 09:00, Saturday from 12:00 to 19:30 and Sunday from 08:30 to 19:30
Week 5: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 19:00 to 09:00
Week 6: Monday and Tuesday from 19:00 to 09:00, Sunday from 08:30 to 22:00
Week 7: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 19:00 to 09:00
Week 8: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 19:00 to 09:00
Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
