Line Manager: Lounge Manager
Location: Jersey Airport
Contract: Full Time, Perm
Salary: £15.53 per hour
Shift Pattern: Working 5 days a week (can differ each week) a mixture of early shifts starting at 5.00am and late shifts finishing at 7.30pm
PURPOSE
You are a key player in the team and you ensure our lounges are always pristine-clean. You pride yourself on the lounge being spotlessly clean front & back, it’s always guest ready.
ROLE
As a Housekeeper you engage with each guest to ensure that we deliver a great experience every time, creating a memorable guest experience is your aim. This is a multi-skilled role with excellent training provided for each of the below areas;
- Carry out all cleaning duties in the lounge floors, emptying bins. Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, and towels in a timely manner.
- Ensure the services, hygiene, cleanliness, and tidiness of the Lounge achieve total customer satisfaction and meet company standards.
- Use of cleaning products in a safe manner.
- To follow cleaning procedures including use of equipment · Health & safety in the workplace including Control of Substances Harmful to Health (COSHH)
- Keeping public areas clean and tidy.
- Helping clean tables after customer use.
- Working as part of a team, helping others out when required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Willing to help in every section and give special attention to an area, when needed.
- Ensure that your attention to detail is second to none, everything has a place and is polished to perfection.
- Always available with the right products to fulfil the task at hand.
- Ensure you are engaging, greeting every guest with a hello, a smile and always saying goodbye.
- Ensure that each toilet area is cleaned and sparkling

- You will be working in shifts, so arriving in good time for the start of your shifts and logging your shifts using the No. 1 time management system is important
- You must comply with all policies and procedures as written in the Employment Handbook, SOPs
- Ability to follow set procedures and plans
- Be willing to help other team members wherever possible and to understand the flexibility required when business levels peak and trough
- Undertake any reasonable requests made of you by the Company including flexibility in hours, location and responsibilities
- Have a clean and presentable uniform in line with company standards
- Enjoying engaging with customers is an essential part of the role
- Previous experience in a similar position and/or experience of shift work an advantage
