Role Overview
We are hiring a Political Science Researcher to conduct deep research on political institutions, behaviour, and policy. The role combines methodological rigor with strong writing — producing research that informs decisions inside and outside the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative political science research
- Build datasets, run analyses, and document methodology rigorously
- Write research reports, briefings, and academic-quality manuscripts
- Monitor political developments relevant to research areas
- Present findings to internal and external audiences
- Collaborate with policy, communications, and product teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in political science, public policy, or related field
- 3+ years in academic, think tank, or applied political research
- Strong quantitative skills (R, Stata, Python) and survey methodology
- Excellent academic writing and ability to translate research for general audiences
- Familiarity with political datasets, voter files, and election data
- Track record of published or presented research
