Job description

A highly regarded private boarding school in Wiltshire is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of History to join its thriving Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and wants to work in a school where academic ambition is balanced with genuine pastoral care. The Role You will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A Level History depending on your experience and interests. The department is well-resourced, collaborative, and passionate about bringing the past to life through engaging and thought-provoking teaching. You will help pupils develop strong analytical skills, historical understanding, and the confidence to express ideas clearly in both discussion and writing.
