Job description
Are you an inspirational scholar of literature ready to foster a deep appreciation for the written word within a historic maritime city? We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join a prestigious senior school in Liverpool. Leading independent senior school in Liverpool Full-time permanent role teaching KS3, GCSE, and A-Level September start The successful candidate will deliver a rigorous and intellectually stimulating English curriculum, encouraging students to engage critically with texts ranging from the Shakespearean canon to contemporary global literature. You will be responsible for planning high-impact lessons that develop sophisticated analytical writing and confident oratory skills. Beyond the classroom, you will contribute to the school's rich literary life, potentially overseeing poetry slams, leading debating societies, or coordinating theater trips to Liverpool’s famed playhouses and beyond.
