Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 1-hour paid lunch break)

\n- Strong interest in IT, technology and problem-solving
\n- Good communication skills and ability to support colleagues
\n- Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware or networking
\n- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
\n- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
\n- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities for an Apprentice
\n
\n- Provide first-line IT support to office-based and remote employees
\n- Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
\n- Set up and configure new PCs and user workstations
\n- Support system maintenance including backups and security software
\n- Assist with installation and rollout of new systems and applications
\n- Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures
\n- Investigate and escalate security issues where required
\n- Support compliance and record-keeping for IT systems
\n- Research new technologies and suggest improvements
\n- Assist with general IT support tasks as required
\n

Apprenticeship Information
\n
You will be enrolled on the Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship, typically completed over 18 months. This includes:
\n
\n- Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
\n- A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training
\n- Development of skills, knowledge and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
\n- Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
\n- Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2
\n

\n
Once you have completed your apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to potentially progress into a permanent IT support role within the business, with further development opportunities.
