The Music Teacher plays a vital role in the cultural life of the school delivering academic Music at GCSE and A-Level while contributing to a vibrant extracurricular program. You will lead diverse ensembles ranging from chamber choirs to symphony orchestras and support students in their preparation for conservatoire auditions and choral scholarships. The role requires a versatile practitioner who is equally comfortable in the classroom as they are on the conductors podium.

Experience and Qualifications
Specialist degree in Music or Music Performance and QTS (or equivalent).
High level of proficiency in at least one instrument; strong keyboard skills are highly desirable.
Experience in leading choral or instrumental ensembles to a high standard.
A deep understanding of academic music history theory and composition.
Salary Remunerated according to experience on the schools independent pay scale.
