Rated Good by Ofsted (Jun 23), Exeter House School is an all through Education Provision (EP) for children and young people (CYP) with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs. We are a supportive and nurturing community for CYP, aged 4 -19 with 3 sites within a short distance apart in Salisbury and we are now expanding with a new satellite opening soon in Tidworth for children aged 4 - 8.

Exeter House School is proud to be part of Brunel Academies Trust - an educational community with no barriers, only potential. We strive to significantly improve the life chances and outcomes for our CYP within our SEND, CofE and mainstream schools and provisions.

We are in search of excellent and adaptive Teaching Assistants to support our newly opening site in Tidworth, as key members forming our team for the new site. We are only going to be growing right now, so this is an exciting opportunity to be one of the earlier starters of the team as we set up.

We are in search of Teaching Assistant who:

Is nurturing and empathetic

Has a great sense of humour

Is an adaptable, collaborative team player

Is patient with a flair for celebrating the smallest of successes

If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to join our friendly and dedicated team. Our children are unique and need positive, supportive and fun Teaching Assistants who understand that our learning journeys are a bit different and that’s great!

Please note that this role will be based at our Tidworth Satellite site until the new school opens in nearby Ludgershall

Hours: 31 hrs per week preferable, but part time will be considered for the right candidate and where this fits the school's needs.

Contract Type: Term Time inc TD Days

Contract Term: Permanent

Training: It is important to us to ensure you feel valued and supported. Full training appropriate to the role will be provided.

Interviews: As received

Note: Applicants will be considered as received. Should a suitable candidate be identified, we may close the vacancy early.

Please see the attached Job Descriptions for full details of the responsibilities and expectations of these roles.

Please check the Person Specification for the qualifications that are listed as Essential for this role. You will be required to show these qualifications if you are successful.
