We're recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's largest charities for multiple Employment Specialist opportunities across Ealing, Brent, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Harrow, Hammersmith and Barnet. You'll support people living with mental or physical health conditions to find work, build confidence and stay in employment. They'll teach you everything you will get to learn all about the clinical IPS Model (Individual Placement Support) and become a specialist.
The role
Every day is different. One morning you might be helping someone prepare for their first interview in years. That afternoon you could be chatting with a local employer about creating a new opportunity, or meeting with NHS clinicians to plan the best support for a participant. You will:
This isn't an office job. You'll spend your time out in the community, meeting people in Jobcentres, NHS sites, council buildings and, occasionally, coffee shops (yes, there's a coffee budget).
