Job description

Role Summary

The Estates & Facilities (EFM) Bank is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Bank Facilities Assistants – Logistics & Post Assistants.

This role supports vital hospital services by ensuring supplies and mail are delivered accurately and on time across the site. We are seeking individuals who can be depended upon to work weekday shifts. Full training will be provided to learn site layout and product information.If you’re enthusiastic about contributing to essential hospital services and want flexible work that fits around your life, we’d love to hear from you.

Logistics:

Supporting the receipt, storage and distribution of stock using computerised systems, ensuring wards and departments receive the right supplies at the right time.

Post Room Services:

Receiving, sorting and delivering internal and external mail, handling courier deliveries, patient notes and outgoing mail in line with Trust procedures.

The role also includes working closely with hospital departments to provide an efficient, customer‑focused service and supporting the Trust during major incidents when required.
