Pay: £20–£25 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Flexible Part-Time or Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
Connex Education Partnership is looking for passionate and experienced SEN Tutors to support children who are unable to attend school. You'll deliver personalised one-to-one tuition in a setting that best meets each learner's needs, most commonly within their home.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils build confidence, improve literacy skills, and re-engage with learning.
Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition to pupils with a range of additional needs.
Support learners with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH, EHCPs, and other SEN.
Plan engaging lessons that develop:
Reading
Writing
Spelling
Grammar
Literacy and communication skills
Adapt your teaching to suit individual learning styles and EHCP outcomes.
Build positive relationships with pupils and their families.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
Create a calm, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.

Surrounding areas
Monday to Friday
Minimum of 2 hours per day, per pupil
Additional hours available
Flexible working to fit around your availability
✔ Teaching or tutoring experience (QTS or non-QTS)
✔ Experience supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH needs
✔ Knowledge of literacy development and the National Curriculum
✔ Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
✔ Experience in schools, alternative provisions, or home tuition is desirable
✔ Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred, but not essential
