Job description
Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager to join an Outstanding secondary school in Leeds. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the operational and financial functions of the school. The successful candidate will lead on finance, HR, administration and site management, ensuring the school operates efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with senior leaders to support school improvement and strategic planning. This role requires strong leadership, financial expertise and organisational skills. School Information: This is an 11 to 18 well-established, Outstanding Ofsted Rated School in Leeds with a strong commitment to high standards, student wellbeing and continuous improvement. The school serves a diverse community and promotes a positive and inclusive ethos. Students are engaged and motivated to succeed. Staff benefit from strong leadership, a collaborative culture and clear professional development pathways. Key Responsibilities: • Lead financial and budget management • Oversee HR and recruitment • Manage school operations and facilities • Ensure compliance with regulations • Support strategic planning • Line manage support staff Requirements: • Relevant qualification in business or finance • Leadership experience • Strong organisational and financial skills • Excellent communication • Strategic thinking • School experience (desirable) Application To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible
