Job description
Behaviour Mentor – inclusive Independent secondary school – Tower Hamlets Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) School information: This is a well-respected Independent secondary school located in Tower Hamlets, known for its inclusive ethos and strong pastoral care. The school serves a diverse student population and is committed to ensuring every student feels supported, safe, and able to succeed. The school places a strong emphasis on behaviour, wellbeing, and personal development. Staff work closely with students to build positive relationships and promote a culture of respect and responsibility. Leadership is proactive and supportive, with clear systems in place to support behaviour and engagement. The Role: The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting wellbeing, and helping students overcome barriers to learning. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students • Implement behaviour strategies and interventions • Monitor and track student behaviour and progress • Work closely with pastoral staff, SEN teams, and external agencies • Support students in developing social and emotional skills • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment Requirements: • Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting • Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills • Ability to build positive relationships with students • Understanding of safeguarding and pastoral support • Resilient, patient, and proactive approach Application: To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
