Job description
Receptionist – welcoming secondary school – Leeds Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) School information: This is a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Leeds, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted . Leadership is supportive, and there is a strong emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere for staff, students, and visitors alike. The front office plays a vital role in maintaining the school’s professional image and ensuring smooth daily operations. The Role: As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a professional and friendly service at all times. You will support the administrative team and ensure the smooth running of the front office. Key Responsibilities: • Welcome visitors and manage the reception area • Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries • Maintain accurate visitor records and safeguarding procedures • Provide administrative support to staff as required • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence • Support attendance and student services where needed Requirements: • Previous reception or administrative experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities • Professional and approachable manner • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Application: To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
