We’re looking for a skilled Off-Host Automation Techniques Developer to join our team in Basildon, UK. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone experienced in automation outside mainframe environments while supporting enterprise systems.
📍 Location: Basildon, Essex (ONSITE)
💼 What you’ll do: • Design and develop off-host automation solutions for mainframe and distributed systems • Build scripts and tools to automate operational processes • Integrate automation workflows with enterprise platforms • Monitor and optimize automation performance • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams
🧠 What we’re looking for: • Experience with off-host automation tools and techniques • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell) • Understanding of mainframe environments (z/OS) and integration points • Knowledge of scheduling tools and automation frameworks • Ability to work in a hybrid setup (Basildon-based)
✨ Nice to have: • Experience with Control-M, Ansible, or similar tools • Exposure to cloud platforms or DevOps practices • Familiarity with system monitoring and alerting tools
