A highly regarded Outstanding school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Studies Teacher from September 2026 to join its successful Humanities department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality Religious Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching available for suitable candidates. Working closely with an experienced and collaborative department, you will inspire students through the teaching of world religions, ethics, and philosophy, develop critical thinking and discussion skills, and contribute to excellent outcomes across the subject. This is a rewarding opportunity suited to a passionate and ambitious teacher. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4 Teach Religion, Ethics, and Philosophy to a high academic standard Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development Support SMSC, PSHE, and wider Humanities initiatives across the school Prepare students successfully for GCSE examinations Participate fully in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings and school life The School This Outstanding school in Basingstoke is recognised for its exceptional academic outcomes, ambitious culture, and inclusive ethos.
