We are committed to delivering high-quality products to the British public and our retail and food service customers, including major retailers like Aldi, Asda, Co-op, KFC, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Morrison's, Sainsbury's, Tesco, and Waitrose.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n About the Role\n\n\n As a Maintenance Technician, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team and carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\n\n

  • You will be required to carry out daily electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
    • \n
  • Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
    • \n
  • Working within a fast-paced environment, covering afternoon shifts as well as covering all the electrical engineering maintenance
    • \n
\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n About You\n\n\n You will have qualifications either at NVQ / HNC or City & Guilds Level in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance. Alternatively, we will also consider applicants who have completed their apprenticeships scheme in electrical engineering.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Key Skills\n\n\n
    \n
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical discipline
    • \n
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving skills
    • \n
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
    • \n
  • Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments (food manufacturing preferred but not essential)
    • \n
  • 18th Edition Electrical Certificate is advantageous
    • \n
\n\n\n\n\n This is a permanent role based at our site UK Poultry - Amber site in West Bromwich, Monday to Friday 2pm - 11pm.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Benefits\n\n\n
