Job description
I’m seeking a patient music tutor to start beginner violin lessons for my 10-year-old. We have a small, quiet living room space with a practice area and a well-tuned violin rented from a local shop. Ideal candidate will have experience teaching beginners, ability to design a fun and gradual lesson plan, and keep lessons engaging with short warm-ups, rhythm exercises, and simple repertoire. Weekly 30-45 minute sessions, flexible days after school, with occasional progress notes. Basic music theory welcome but not required. We’d prefer someone who can provide a few starter exercises we can practice at home and can offer feedback on posture and intonation.
