Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Primary School 📍 Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset 📅 Start Date: September 2026 💷 Salary: £32,916 per annum 🕒 Full‑time, Permanent Prospero Teaching is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and supportive primary school in Weston-Super-Mare in their search for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to begin their career in a nurturing environment, with full ECT support and mentoring provided throughout the induction period. The Role Full‑time class teacher position within a supportive primary setting Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with the national curriculum Create a positive and stimulating learning environment Work collaboratively with experienced teachers, mentors, and senior leaders Take part in professional development and ECT training programmes The School Offers A structured and well‑supported ECT induction programme Dedicated mentor and regular feedback sessions Supportive leadership team with a strong focus on staff wellbeing Opportunity to develop skills and confidence as a classroom teacher Friendly, inclusive school community The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS (or will achieve QTS before September 2026) Is an ECT or soon‑to‑qualify teacher Passionate about primary education and ...
