We're looking for a caring, confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school and support pupils with additional needs. If you've spent at least two years working in education and love helping children build confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning, we'd love to hear from you.
No two days are the same, but every day is rewarding.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, both 1:1 and in small groups.
- Helping children stay engaged, motivated and ready to learn.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to provide the best possible support.
- Creating a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encouraging pupils to celebrate every achievement, big or small.
What we're looking for
- A minimum of two years' experience working within an educational setting.
- Experience supporting children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs.
- A patient, adaptable and positive approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
- A genuine passion for helping every child reach their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
