Job description
Librarian – Outstanding Independent School – Bath (Somerset) Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Librarian to join an Outstanding independent secondary school in Bath. This is a fantastic opportunity to support literacy development and foster a love of reading across the school. The successful candidate will manage the library space, oversee resources and support students in developing independent research and study skills. You will work closely with teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and promote reading initiatives. This role requires strong organisational skills, a passion for education and the ability to engage students. School Information: This is an 11 to 18 well-established, Outstanding Ofsted Rated Independent School in Bath with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student development. The school is known for its nurturing environment, where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The library is a central hub of learning, supporting both academic success and personal development.
